Science Benchmarks on an Apple Power Macintosh G5 vs a MacPro vs a Sony PS3

As promised here are some scientific benchmarks that compare the performance of double-precision floating point operations between a PowerMac (2.5 GHz G5) running Mac OS X Tiger (the PowerMac could also run Yellow Dog Linux), a PlayStation 3 (3.2 GHz Cell) running Yellow Dog Linux 5.0, and a Mac Pro (2.66 GHz Xeon) running Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.
