China will soon open the largest Bible production plant in the world on the outskirts of the city of NanJing. The plant will be operated by government-sanctioned Amity Press and will print one-million Bibles each month. Bob Fu, president of the China Aid Association, says it’s ironic that this is in an atheist and communist country.

Although many people offered to adopt her, Lei DongXiang, a five-year-old girl in Chongqing Municipality, Southwest China politely refused, as she wanted to look after her older brother. In 2000, DongXiang’s father died of an illness. Unable to handle his untimely death, her mother had a mental breakdown. As a result the young girl shouldered the responsibility of caring for her mother and retarded brother.

The Department of State has instituted a new fee schedule for passport services. In addition, the age for which both parents must appear and sign a passport application on behalf of a child will increase from 14 to 16 years old. At this time applicants will also have the option of ordering a new Passport Card alternative to the Passport Book.

A big announcement of YD6.0 is the alleged word that Yellow Dog 6.0 will be shipped pre-installed on future PS3’s if Terra Soft is right. Rumors have already been flying that this is even more confirmation of a new PS3 model since right now the only way to get Linux pre-installed on the PS3 is to order one directly from companies like Terra Soft.
